Hard to believe that Frank and I first met about 60 years ago at good old "Acid U" AKA Sonoma State College. There was this great band playing some Fridays in the quad with the stupidest name in the world "Bronze Hog" But man, they were good. In the 60's SF music scene, the lead guitar player was king. And Frank sure could channel that beast. Kindled my inner crazy dancer. One Friday this really beautiful girl was hitting on me, which was great, until ... she didn't know or care that the "Hog" was playing that day. I immediately wrote her off as being not worthy of any consideration.

Got to know Frank well, and was a voluntary roadie for a while, mostly so I could get into the gigs free.

One day (remember this was the Psychedelic Sixties) I asked: "Hey Frank home come you never drop acid with us or smoke pot?" He said: "I'm way to far out there already." ..... Indeed! He sure was.

A far out friend for 75% of my life.   He spent over ten years talking me into recording my songs.  Finally pushed me into doing it.  I'm grateful.

He always signed off with "Love you David."

Love You Frank,

I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that Jehovah God understands the pain of losing a loved one, and He offers comfort through His Word. As found in his word at Acts 24:15, He gives us the comforting hope of a resurrection, saying, "there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." This promise of seeing our loved ones again can provide strength during this difficult time
