In lieu of flowers

Please consider a donation to Estate Expense Fund.

How you can help

In lieu of flowers, we would be deeply grateful for any monetary contributions you might wish to make, to be allocated to the fund organized on this page. These funds will be used to help cover any unforeseen expenses, such as funeral costs, medical expenses, and other necessary financial matters on behalf of Frank’s Estate. Your generosity during this time is greatly appreciated.

Personal note from Stephanie Betancourt Roiser

Friends & Family,

On behalf of the entire family, I want to express our deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love, support, and kindness we received during the recent passing of our beloved father, Francisco Betancourt.

The sudden and unexpected nature of his death has brought immense sorrow, and we are deeply touched by the numerous expressions of sympathy we have received from friends, relatives, neighbors, and colleagues. Your presence at the funeral service, whether in person or in spirit, provided us with immense comfort during a time of profound grief. We also want to extend our sincere thanks to those who thoughtfully donated funds in lieu of flowers to support us in our planning efforts; your generosity was deeply appreciated.

Additionally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Gloria Allen for her kindness and generosity in hosting the repass following the funeral service, and to Meredith Macchione for her invaluable support in providing childcare, which allowed the immediate family the necessary time for travel planning and attendance.

We especially want to thank Reverend Ferris Hardin for officiating the service and for delivering such a beautiful and meaningful eulogy. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, and in particular to Trish, Beth, and Kevin, for their compassionate guidance and support during this difficult time. Their professionalism and care were invaluable in helping us honor our father's memory. For those who were unable to attend in person or would like to revisit the service, the live stream version of the chapel service will remain available on the Memorial Park Funeral Home Facebook page.

We also want to acknowledge the thoughtful support of the members of the Methodist Mission Group, our father's cousins Chuchy & Pucho, and Jesse & Elizabeth Festa, who traveled long distances to be with us.

Finally, for those who would like to see them, photos taken at the funeral and subsequent repass will be posted to the timeline on the Memorial Park Funeral Home Facebook page in the weeks to come. Your gestures of compassion, no matter how big or small, have been a source of strength and solace to us all.

To our dear family, now that we have honored our father with a beautiful farewell, may we all allow the true grieving process to begin. Let patience, grace, and reflection guide us back to a space of healing, understanding, and peace.

As we navigate this new chapter without him, we will forever cherish the memories we shared with our father. Your continued support in the days and weeks ahead will be deeply appreciated.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Francisco, Gricelia, & Stephanie Betancourt
