It is with a heavy heart that I share with you all the passing of my dear grandfather, Francisco 'Paco' Hernandez Escobedo. Born October 4th 1947, Paco passed peacefully in the presence of his family and close friends on Tuesday April 2nd 2024, at the age of 76. 

He now joins his beloved wife Barbara Annette 'Wood' Hernandez in heaven along with many other cherished family members. He is survived by his 6 siblings, daughters, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. His departure comes as a great shock and leaves a deep wound, it is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply. Paco was a strong, independent, humorous and easy-going man who had many passions. Throughout his life, he made countless friends, lived a life of adventures, and impacted the lives of many. He will be remembered by all who knew him and missed greatly by all who loved him. As his uniquely warm laughter lives on forever in our minds, may we follow his wishes not to grieve harshly but to celebrate the life he lived, "When I'm gone, don't cry for me. I want you to celebrate my memory, be happy that I lived a great life. I want everyone to be together, drinking tequila as I would have".

Our family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time. In lieu of a funeral service, please join us for a memorial mass that will be held in Francisco's honour. Mass will occur at Our Lady Queen of the World Parish on Friday, May 3rd 2024 @ 7 PM
