Background
My father passed due to heart attack while playing basketball. He had pre-existing conditions and was hypertensive with high blood pressure. It is absolutely not necessary to donate, but as a placeholder (as this website has a 'memorial gifts', the American Heart Association is a perfect organization you can donate. The organization trains individuals for CPR, signs of a stroke/cardiac arrest/heart attacks, and has many other resources that saves life. I suggest as well for you, if you know any loved ones or friends that suffer heart conditions, to be informed and perhaps practice life saving techniques.
