Frank's obituary
Francis "Frank" Quinn, 84, of Chandler, AZ, passed away on March 29, 2025 after a long battle with dementia.
Frank was born on September 29, 1940 to Charles and Nellie Quinn in Prestonpans, Scotland. His parents died while he was very young, and he was raised by his Aunt Rosie in Horwich in Lancashire, England. After graduating from Liverpool University with a degree in electrical engineering, he worked on the North Sea for Schluberger doing seismic surveying for the oil industry. During this time he met his wife Denise, and they wed in 1966, going on to have 3 boys, Michael, Jason and Saul. He later went on to work for Rolls Royce were he got into the nuclear industry while designing the power plant for a nuclear submarine. His work as a nuclear engineer kept him and his family moving from place to place, first around England, then to Canada, and finally to several states in the U.S. Frank was also a passionate athlete and could often be found playing football (soccer), volleyball, racquetball or golf when he wasn’t at home. Anyone who knew Frank knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for.
Frank was predeceased by Denise and Saul, who both passed just a few short weeks before him. He is survived by his sons Michael and Jason, their wives Cindy and Laura, and five grandsons, Sean, Liam, William, Declan and Cyrus. There will be a joint celebration of life for Frank, Denise and Saul at 1:00pm on Sunday May 23rd, 2025 at Harper's Ferry Brewing, 37412 Adventure Center Ln, Purcellville, VA 20132.
