Background
Thank you so much for everyone's support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, if you wish to honor Ray, please consider contributing to a fund his sons have established to provide financial help to youth soccer players in the Triangle area. A baseball, track and football player in his youth, Ray's love of soccer started in the late 1970s when his sons started playing the game. For over 40 years, he went to 1000s of his children's and grandchildren's soccer games, practices and tournaments all over the country. His passion for the game extended beyond his kids and grandchildren that played soccer as he held various leadership positions in the early formative years of Raleigh area soccer. We wish to honor him by giving others the opportunity to pursue their soccer dreams. Thank you so much in advance for your support of this cause.
