Francis's obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Francis "Frank" Poremba of heartfelt memory, who departed this world on August 9, 2023. Born on April 25, 1956, Francis, better known as "Frank" to some, lived a life filled with warmth, love and hard work.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Karen Vitolo-Poremba(Belavich), his cherished daughter, Amy Poremba, and his step-sons, Dennis and James Vitolo. They will forever uphold his memory. He was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Francis Poremba, but his spirit lives on in those he left behind.

A devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cavs, and Indians, Frank's passion for his favorite teams was as infectious as his joy. In his leisure time, he loved hunting, reading magazines, and spending quality time with his dog Maxx. He was always smiling and happy and could light up any room with his grin. He held fond memories of his time spent at the Polish Club, one of his favorite local spots.

Frank was a man of great courage, strength, and integrity. His life was marked by his deep love for his family, his enthusiasm for his favorite sporting teams, his work as a locomotive engineer with CSX, and his love for the simple pleasures in life. Even as we mourn his absence, we celebrate a life well lived and a man well loved. We will remember him happy and always smiling. May his soul rest in peace.

Any donations can be made to the Euclid Animal Shelter in his memory.
