We regret to announce the passing of Francis "Butch, Big Mack" McVicker, 74, of Fairmont, WV, on July 19, 2022. Francis passed away, surrounded by his loved ones.  He attended Mannington High School and graduated in 1967. After graduation, Francis joined the US Army.  He was a Vietnam era veteran stationed in Germany as a big rig driver.  In 1970 he married Brenda Joyce Hayhurst. He worked for CONSOL energy for over 20 years.  Francis loved to hunt deer and squirrel; dabble in coin collecting; and most of all spend time visiting with neighbors & friends.

Francis is survived by two siblings, Harold A. McVicker Jr of Grant Town, WV & Judith Elizabeth Shamblen of Wooster, OH; two children: a daughter, Stacy Conners of Cortland, NY & a son, Brian S. McVicker of Fairmont; and two beloved granddaughters: Hadley & Deanna McVicker of Monongah, WV. Francis wanted private services with only his family in attendance.
