Francis John Jenkins, lovingly known as Fran, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on July 22, 1944, to Anna and Arthur Jenkins, Fran grew up in a large and close-knit family.

He was predeceased by his siblings Beatrice Montgomery, Clifford Jenkins, Thomas Jenkins, June Kane, Forest Jenkins, Arthur Jenkins, and Bruce Jenkins. He is survived by his wife Janet Jenkins; his children Francis Jr., John, Kelly, and Robert Jenkins; his stepson Jason; his siblings Isabell Hinkle, Esther Goode, and George Jenkins; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy.

Fran had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting throughout his life. A dedicated fan of the Phillies and Eagles. He also found great satisfaction in building and creating things for his family and friends—a testament to his generous spirit and love for those around him.

A celebration of Fran’s life will be held on February 1st, 2025 at the Red Lantern, 41 W Oak Lane Glenolden PA 19036, from 2pm to 6pm.

Fran’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his legacy of kindness and dedication bring comfort to those he leaves behind.
