Bob's obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Francis Robert “Bob” Feaver on February 11, 2026, in his 95th year.
Bob was born in Hamilton, where he attended Delta High school and later McMaster University, where he received a BSc in Biochemistry.
He went on to have a 38-year career at Procter & Gamble in product development, where he earned several patents for product creation and innovative packaging.
Bob was active in curling, racquetball, softball, and playing sports with his sons. He also managed the Grimsby Lacrosse League, including organizing multiple tournaments.
Bob could always be relied upon to get his sons to their varied activities, including hockey, football, and lacrosse games, usually with a station wagon loaded with other kids too.
Bob enjoyed spending time at the family cottage on Six Mile Lake, Muskoka, where he taught all the kids to canoe, water ski, and drive boats.
He especially enjoyed taking morning canoe trips and sunset cruises with his love, Judy.
Bob and Judy traveled to many parts of the world, even surviving a hurricane and an earthquake along the way.
They also enjoyed spending winters in Florida.
Survived by his partner Judy Squires and his brother Charles “Chuck “Feaver, his sons Doug (Frances), Jim (Patsy) and Glenn (Lynn), and grandchildren Douglas, Sarah, and Cole.
Pre-deceased by son Brian (Michelle).
Also survived by extended family Shawn Squires and Connie Cooper, Max and Eden, Mark and Kristen Duncan, Jillian, and Jamie.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sunrise of Burlington for their care and compassion.
As per Bob’s wishes, there will not be a funeral. A Celebration of Life will be held in future.
