Francis X. Bonnes, Jr, age 77, beloved husband of Patricia Dugan Bonnes, passed away on Sunday 22 February 2026 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, PA. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Tricia, and 8 siblings: Karen (Robert) Michalak, Margaret Anne O’Donnell, Paul (Kathleen) Bonnes, Joseph Bonnes, Mark (Lucille) Bonnes, Mary Bonnes, Clare (John) Cosenza, and Peter (Marina) Bonnes. Frank is also survived by 34 first cousins, and 18 nieces and nephews, and 25 great nieces and nephews.

In his youth, Frank loved spending  summers in Brigantine NJ: boating, clamming, and camping with his brothers and cousins.  After graduating from Biscayne College in Miami, Frank stayed in Florida for several years.  He moved north again and went to Penn State to study special education.  He taught autistic children and he loved his students and they loved him.  Frank had a stroke 30 years ago and suffered constant residual pain ever since.  In spite of his pain, he always had a heart filled with joy and love. He had a sweet demeanor like his father. He always had a kind word for everyone and could always make everyone laugh especially with his hilarious stories,  “Know what a kid did..?  His beautiful smile and kindness will be missed.  Rest in peace, dearest Frank. Service will be private.
