Background
Francine lived her life as a giver, community leader, mentor and friend. Serving families by heading the annual Operation Gobble and Diaper Drive. Mentoring teens with college applications and writing glorious letters of recommendations. Inspiring young talent with her endless creativity through theatre shows, dance choreography, poetry and the written word.
Francine was a SHEro who loved to empower those around her. Especially the young girls she championed so they may find their passions and reach their goals.
Francine was a fierce advocate for Lung Cancer Awareness. In her words, "Nobody wants it but God gave it to the noisy one so, I might as well spread the word. I'm going to appreciate every single moment that I have and every single resource that I have. And every chance that I get to help spread the word and hopefully save another life. That's what I'm in for."
Francine literally helped everyone in all stages of life. And she did it with so much grace and compassion, giving so freely of her time to so many.
The Maigue Family would like to uphold Francine's Legacy by creating The Francine Maigue Foundation to help Lung Cancer Awareness and those who share Francine's generosity of heart, positivity and passion for the arts. Contribute
