First time I met momma Francine was my first year of my masters degree when I met Lisa. Lisa said that she had to go see her second mom & brought me along.
Momma Francine said hello to me and told me to sit down & then proceeded to feed me the most delicious Stuffed Artichoke I’ve ever had. She was always so welcoming & loving.
When I moved to London, I really missed the food I would eat in Brooklyn. I reached out to Momma Francine on FB and asked if she would share the stuffed artichoke recipe & a few others. I’m glad to say I’ve attempted to make them and whilst they don’t hold a candle to Francine’s, I know she’s proud I keep making it for my family!
I’m proud to have known her & blessed to have a piece of her in my family cookbook!
May momma Francine rest in peace & May god keep & hold her family close. x

We were very saddened when we heard the news of Francine's passing. May God take her in his arms and bring her home.

Francine was a sweet soul! Remember her fondly from our days living on Sackett Street in Brooklyn......

Francine was like a mother to me. I practically lived in her home from the time I was 7 until 25 years old. She was one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. I will miss her everyday.
