Foye passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning with his parents by his side. Cancer cut his life short as it does so many others.

Foye once wrote “A body is not what I am. It’s just the vehicle I travel in.” And now he has shed that body and released his spirit to carry on in light and love.

Many loved Foye, including his son Foye IV, who will carry on his name and spirit. He had a charisma that endeared him and engrained his memory in the minds of all his friends and family.

He is survived by his parents, Debra and Foye McLemore, and his four sisters.

There will be no service at this time as his family seeks peace.
