Floyd Newhouser, 60, of Dayton, OH passed away peacefully on September 11, 2022, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Floyd  was born on July 17, 1962 in Ironton, Ohio to parents Floyd and Judith Newhouser.  He enjoyed playing drums and was an avid fisherman. What he loved more than anything was being a Dad to his daughters and a loving Pap to his grandsons.

Floyd was predeceased in death by his parents, Floyd and Judith. He is survived by his daughters Angela Blythe and Natasha (William) Pelsor. His grandsons and fishing buddies Carter and Maxton Pelsor, sister Karla (Perry Spencer) Hildebran, nieces Amanda Monroe, Tiffany (Matt) Lawson and great-nieces  Karly Monroe, Saylee Burnett and great-nephew Robby North.

The family is hosting a Celebration of Floyd's life at the Greater Life Apostolic Church, located at 200 Snyder Street in Springfield, Ohio on September 25th, 2022. The service will begin at 3:00 p.m. and a gathering will follow afterwards for family and friends to share a meal and memories of Floyd. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.
