I am Kaitlyn, one of Floyd's youngest daughters. He passed away  in January 2020 after battling COPD for a few years.  Floyd was in the Army and Navy at one point and fought in the Vietnam War. He also published 2 albums, opened a show for Marty Stuart and Travis Tritt, and had many of his own concerts. He loved all of his kids and family with his whole heart. My mom Tina stayed at the hospital with him for days during his last moments, my half- sisters Ashley and Leaona as well as her mother Dianne also came to the hospital to sit with him. He has been missed dearly by all of his kids everyday since his passing.

He should have lived longer cause now Leona mourns her father Floyd death from 2020 to present.

Floyd dies in the presence of Ashley from Texas who calls Leona and her mother Diane to return to the hospital & later Leona sees her dad Floyd dead corpse with Pastor Rita Staul from Phoebus United Methodist Church at her side for emotional support.

Floyd lands in hospital after falling in apartment with Leona & Diane with him only to learn he has to be admitted after injury is declared life threatening.

Floyd married Diane 2 years later having Leona as their flower girl.

Floyd becomes father to baby girl who was named Leona by his fiancé Diane.
