In search of old friends, I was both sad and reflective in finding Lee's obituary.  We were good friends and co-workers with Reese Brothers Contractors when Lee was about 20 years old.  At that time he possessed intelligence and maturity beyond his years and I remember him as a very insightful, soulful person.

I will greatly miss you. My great uncle lee always had a smile on his face and always was kind and caring to us all. I love you uncle lee.

Such a kind and gentle man so sorry for your loss but even though they are gone from our site they will live in our hearts and memories forever ⭐️

I know it's not much of a story but it's one that I remember my grandma told us growing up about when she was babysitting his siblings and she was telling Lee he had to do some chores, (Martha about 7th grade) (Lee about 3rd grade)  Well let's just say Lee was not having it so he grabbed butcher knife and started chasing my grandma all down the street and Mrs Lee (i know how ironic) the neighbor across the street who used to babysit Karen came running out and my grandma's just screaming "He's gonna kill me, he's gonna kill me!"😂😂😭 While Lee kept chasing grandma Martha with a knife Told my grandma before writing this and she was like "don't tell that story they're going to think he's mean" I just said "I think it's pretty funny since you guys were so little" 😂Love you uncle Lee!!!
