Floy Ladelle Hester, of Mason TX, whispered her last breath and entered the arms of Jesus on January 8th, 2021. She was born on November 7th, 1949. The world became a better place that day.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

She had a smile that could light up the room and a laugh that was contagious.

She relished the joys of being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.

Her dog, Baxter, was her best friend. He brought her so much love and companionship.

She cherished every minute with family.

Before she became ill, she was an avid garage sale and thrift store shopper.

She was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.

She will be fondly remembered for her outgoing, charismatic, devoted, and loving nature.

Those left to cherish sweet memories include her son and daughter-in-law, JJ and Tammy Hester; her daughter and son- in-law , Pam and Robert Lenz; her grandchildren, Josh Hester, Shelby and Travis Blattner, Brittany and Chris Dailey, Jon Hester, Amy and Derrick Guzman. Her great grandchildren, Christian, Ella, Diego and Mia. Her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Barbara Hudson. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews and many friends that she loved immensely.

Those that greeted her at heaven’s gate included her mother and father, Opal and BP Cook; and many dear friends and family members.

Thank you to her many doctors, caregivers and neighbors. We would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kujan Bhatt who gave us an additional 10 years to love and be loved by her.
