It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Florence "Cheaka" Myles, affectionately known as Cheaka, but preferred Florence. Born on September 19, 1976, she took her last breath on January 2, 2026. Florence leaves behind a legacy full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Florence is survived by her loving daughters, Keshawnna Myles and Tashanna Richardson. She was predeceased by her beloved brother, Donald Myles. Her enduring spirit and vibrant personality will live on through her family, including her cherished children and six grandchildren.

Florence graduated from Goochland County Public Schools, VA in 1997, and was a regular attendee at Chief-Cornerstone Baptist Church, where she found comfort and communion. Florence had a deep love for life and enjoyed simple pleasures. Her favorite foods included Sour cream & onion Lays, and she enjoyed sipping on cold Pepsi and ice water.

She had a deep appreciation for R&B classics, with artists like Mary J. Blige and Sean Paul being her favorites. Florence was also a fan of the television shows "In The Heat Of The Night" and "Her Football Games", and had a penchant for drama, horror, and old movies. A dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan, she found joy in playing Solitary and Bubble Bash, and loved watching the Bet Awards.

Florence was very active and enjoyed walks down her driveway multiple times a day and dancing. She also loved playing games on her phone, drawing, and listening to her favorite music. In her free time, Florence enjoyed dining at local spots including McDonald's, Red Lobster, Wing Stop, Kickback Jacks, and Texas Roadhouse.

Passionate about family above all, Florence was deeply committed to her mother, daughters, and grandchildren. She found fulfillment and purpose in caring for those she loved. Known for her warm, bubbly personality and full of love nature, Florence had a heart full of kindness and her lesson of always caring for one another will be remembered by all who knew her.

Florence's legacy will forever be kept alive through her gifts, her children, and grandchildren. Her favorite color, blue, will remain a symbol of her vibrant spirit.
