It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Florence Murphy. Born on October 28, 1839, Florence left this world on May 21, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of sweetness, generosity, and strong will. Her genuine, loving, unconditional, loyal, and protective nature touched the lives of all who knew her.

Florence is survived by her daughter, Lisa Murphy, who will carry on her mother's memory and love. As a supportive and devoted mother, Florence instilled in her daughter the importance of self-care and presentation, teaching her to "never leave the house without having makeup on and your hair styled." This lesson is a testament to Florence's attention to detail and care for oneself and others.

Despite life's obstacles, Florence persevered and achieved notable accomplishments such as completing cosmetology school and obtaining her GED. These achievements serve as a reminder of her determination and commitment to personal growth and development.

In honor of Florence's life, there will be two gatherings to celebrate her memory. The first will be held on May 31, 2023, at 5:30 PM at Palm Beach National Chapel. The second gathering will take place on May 31, 2023, at 9:00 PM at South Florida National Cemetery. These events will provide an opportunity for those touched by Florence's life to come together and pay tribute to the incredible woman she was.

Florence Murphy's life and legacy will continue to be an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered as a loving mother, a loyal friend, and a source of strength for those around her. May her memory live on through the stories, laughter, and love shared in her honor.
