Florence Marie Montoya Cruz passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025, in Denver, Colorado, at the age of 85. She was born on April 17, 1939, in Sopris, Colorado, to Lena and Lawrence Montoya. Florence was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family above all else. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Silviano, her four daughters Roberta (Jim) Volturo, Janice Darras, Lisa Ortiz, and Toni Cruz, five grandchildren, Florence Cruz, James (Monica) Volturo, Brittany (Santana) Rivas, Amanda Ortiz, and Timothy Cruz, six great-grandchildren, Victoria Delgado, Seth Delgado, Madison Delgado, Aaron Conchos, Olivia Volturo and Naya Rivas, and three sisters, Louise (Richard) Sandoval, Judy (Richard) Ortiz, and Maxine (Bill) Roberts, and a large extended family and many dear friends.

On March 7, 2025, at True Life Community SDA Church we will have a breakfast reception at 9:00 a.m.  followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. then the burial service at Olinger Cemetery – Crown Hill at 1:00 p.m 7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033  

From a young age, Florence dedicated her life to Christ and remained a faithful member of the Lakewood Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering faith, touching the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
