Our beloved Aunty Florence had a sixth sense about how to support each one of us whenever we needed her. We will remember her for how she always celebrated life. She always graced our occasions - engagements, weddings, outdooring – with her presence and with gifts. Raised as a Methodist, Aunty Florence would consistently encourage us through hymnals. Around this time last year, she joined us virtually for my brother's wedding signing ceremony where she raised the Methodist hymn 98:

Captain of Israel's host, and Guide

Of all who seek the land above,

Beneath Thy shadow, we abide,

The cloud of Thy protecting love;

Our strength, Thy grace, our rule, Thy Word;

Our end, the glory of the Lord

Aw Aunty Florence, you will be sorely missed but our memories together will be forever cherished.
