Hi dear, Christmas has an extra edge this year of loss and love. Your Mom was unforgettable, in my heart mostly because she grew you in her body, heart and soul. Her smile was warm and loving, as yours is. All those ornaments, all those stories - my love to you this season and ever.

I am so sorry that y'all have lost your mom.  Florence was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known, and I'm so happy I was able to have a phone conversation with her after she moved to Austin, after so many years of not seeing her.  I knew her through St. Stephens from the mid-70s to the mid-90s.  I agree with her that New Zealand is a beautiful country!  Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Julie and Family,

I know what your mother meant to you all and I am so sorry for your loss. She was a super amazing kind person and I am glad that I was able to meet her.

Our prayers are with you all.

Praying for you and Monty and family, Julie.  What a lovely tribute you have written to your dear mother.  Your honor for her was so apparent ever since I met you, but especially in bringing her with great care to Austin.  I'll always remember her sitting on your couch directing tree trimming, or kindly approving of your handy work with a sly little smile.  Wahh, tears, I know we'll all be reunited, but it's hard.  She lives through you, Christ lives through us in all these ways and more.  God bless you my dear friend.

Sending love to all of you as you grieve the loss of  your mom. Oh my, what a fulfilling and selfless life Florence lived! Thank you for sharing details and insight about her life. I am so grateful for the phone conversations and connection I was able to have with aunt Florence this last year. I appreciated her joy and sincere care in the conversations we had.

We send comfort to you and your family, Julie. Your wisdom was helpful to us in the midst of our grieving over Karen, even though you were in the grips of grief yourself. Thank you, friend.

Auntie Florence was such a positive influence in my life. Always had a great outlook on life! I’m so glad we got to see her in May! I will never forget that birthday of mine. I will be thinking of all of you on November 5th! Sorry I won’t be there😢.

I love you all, Janice

I remember Flo so well as a child growing up at St. Stephen’s. She was just a permanent fixture in the beautiful landscape that was my childhood. I appreciate the words written here so much as I likely would have never known of all the things she overcame and persevered through. My condolences for this loss. She was one of a kind.
