Flora May Barker was born April 9, 1933 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Walter Marion Barker and Edith Elvira Adams Barker. She married Everett Bennett Sepember 7, 1951. She would welcome 3 children into their family, Marsha, Cheri and Steve in the years that followed. She lived in Eugene, Oregon most of her adult life where she was a loved sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and even a great-great-grandmother. She was a devoted Christian attending Gilham Road Baptist Church eventually renamed Harvest community Church where she was a deacons wife, Sunday school teacher and beloved member for almost 60 years. After the death of her husband of more than 40 years she remarried. She and Walter Stampfli had many great adventures. A few years after his passing she moved to Creswell spending her last years living with her oldest grandchild, Jayme, and her family. She passed away in her home peacefully on October 9, 2025 at the age of 92. She is survived by her sisters, Carolyn and Pauline, her children, 5 grandchildren, Jayme, Matt, Brian, Heather and Holly as well as 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She lived a life of service to her family and her community. Her contribution will be felt for generations.
