First Lady Shirley M. Patterson transitioned from this life into Heaven on October 17, 2022 in Anchorage, Alaska.
A Homegoing Service will be held Saturday October 29th at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 855 E. 20th Avenue in Anchorage.
Community Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 Noon with the Homegoing Service beginning at 12 Noon.
First Lady Shirley Patterson loved her family, her church, and was an advocate for the educational and vocational success of young people. Her desire was to establish an educational endowment that would provide scholarship support to young men and women seeking to attend postsecondary education and enter into religious vocation.
In lieu of flowers the Patterson Family requests that donations be made to the “First Lady Emeritus, Shirley M. Patterson Memorial Scholarship fund” by way of the following link:
