It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Filomena "Phyllis" Casperino Johnson Grabar, affectionately known as Phyllis, who left this world on July 31, 2024. Born on February 10, 1940, Phyllis had a life filled with love, laughter, and memorable moments, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

A loving matriarch, Phyllis is survived by her cherished children, daughter, Donna Crowe, and son, Norman Johnson. Her memory will continue to be celebrated through the lives of her beloved grandchildren, Patience Canfield, Joseph Cruz, Charles Crowe, Talitha Reinhart, Zackery Crowe, Sharina Shanks, and Dominique Johnson. Also, seven amazing great grandchildren.

Her legacy of strength and care also lives on in her sister, Theresa Gorman.

Phyllis was a woman of great strength and character, whose love for her family was only matched by the love they had for her. Her life was a testament to resilience, kindness, and the enduring power of family bonds. She will always be remembered for her fiercely protective nature, and her incredible capacity to love.

The family kindly requests that any donations, be made to the Alzheimer's Association. 

Phyllis’ spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her kindness and love. She will be greatly missed, but forever remembered.
