Bud's obituary
Ferman “Bud” Eddy, 95, went to be with his Lord on January 15, 2026, in Lady Lake, Florida, just 23 days after the passing of his beloved wife, Jeanine. He was born on October 1, 1930, in Toledo, Ohio.
Bud was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great‑grandfather whose greatest joy was his family and his faith. He is survived by his children Judy Culberson (Chris), Bob Eddy (Peggy), Carolyn Dohme (Rick), and Kathy McClintock (Brad); 12 grandchildren; and 17 great‑grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Eddy, and of course, his beautiful wife of 70 years, Jeanine.
After moving to Florida in 1960, Bud retired to New Smyrna Beach in 1997, where he and Jeanine enjoyed life on the river in their condo. In retirement, Bud delighted in fishing and playing softball, passions that brought him joy and countless memories with friends and family.
Bud’s family takes comfort in knowing that he peacefully left this world to rejoin his beloved wife, whose love was the center of his life.
