Feely John's obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Felix "Feely John" Humble, lovingly known to many as Feely John. Born on April 20, 1965, their energy ceased to exist in this realm on May 13, 2025.
Identifying as non-binary, Feely John's personality was as dynamic as their life. They were seen, often, as erratic and frenzied, making an impression on all encounters, and living life fiercely, always on their own terms. One of the greatest life lessons was their strong belief in the tenacity behind negative emotions, asserting "If you hate enough, you will succeed in your goals."
Feely John's influence reached corners of the world that many could only aspire to touch. Among their many accomplishments, they played a key role in overseeing the merger between fast food giants KFC and Taco Bell. Perhaps even more remarkably, they took it upon themselves to personally eradicate the Boll weevil population in Madagascar.
Feely John is survived by their husband, Wontabald Short. Together, they leave a legacy of 14 deeply traumatized children, and a thriving shrimp fishing business on the Atlantic coast. The lessons taught, the love given, and the chaos created will surely be carried on by their family.
Feely had an inexplicable and steadfast dedication to Richard Nixon, evidenced by their consistent write-in of Nixon for every single election since 1984. It was a testament to their enduring belief in the irrelevance of conventional choices and their knack for going against the grain.
While we mourn their loss, we also celebrate the eccentric life of Feely John, a truly one-of-a-kind soul whose presence will be deeply missed. Their life served as a reminder that to live fully, we must live authentically, regardless of societal norms and expectations.
