Felipe "Papi" Aguirre Martinez, known affectionately as Papi but who preferred Felipe, was born on March 25, 1938. Felipe lived a full life, surrounded by love and family until his passing on January 13, 2026.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Maria de Aguirre, with whom he shared an epic love story since their marriage in 1957. Felipe was a cherished father to his children - Monica Aguirre, Juan Aguirre, Maria del Pilar Aguirre, Maria Concepcion Aguirre Martinez, Patricia Aguirre, Edilia Aguirre, and Rodrigo Daniel Aguirre Martinez. Mourning his passing also is his son, Felipe Aguirre, who predeceased him.

Felipe's legacy lives on through his strong family values and the love he had for one another. He enjoyed spending time with his family above all else. His love for movies was well-known, especially those featuring Pedro Infante. A proud and competitive spirit, he found joy in playing Rasca Rasca (Scratchoffs). Traveling was another source of joy for Felipe, with Mexico being his favorite destination.

He began a new chapter of his life in 1985 when he moved to the United States. He was a dedicated attendee at Iglesia De Dios Internacional, Tarpon Springs. Felipe retired in 2002, after a successful career.

The family invites all who knew and loved Felipe to a funeral service on January 16, 2026, at 8:00 PM, and subsequent burial on the same day at 9:30 PM. Both services will be held at 401 N Disston Ave to celebrate and honor Felipe's life.

Felipe "Papi" Aguirre Martinez will forever be remembered for his charm, wit, and the strong love he had for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and family values that will continue to inspire generations.
