Felicita Antonia Jimenez, 69, of Box Springs, GA, passed away in Columbus, GA on January 7, 2024. She was a dedicated mother and a hard worker, known for her volunteer work at her children's schools and her unwavering support for them. Felicita also enjoyed traveling and had the opportunity to live in Europe during her former husband's military service.

She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Amaris Amanda Saunders (Darius) and Ivanna Marie Evans (Justin), her son Ivan Jose Jimenez, and her grandchildren Kaleb David Jimenez (Ivanna), Liam Embry Saunders (Amaris), Leland Eugene Saunders (Amaris), Logan Charles Saunders (Amaris), Abigail Hope Jimenez (Ivan), Layla Rose Jimenez (Ivan), and Madilynn Grace (Ivan). Felicita is also survived by her sister Milagros Aponte, Grezony Carabello who spent the later part of her life caring for her and her children, former spouse Ivan Jimenez, and various nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlo Aponte and Guillermina Caban.

Felicita worked as a Youth Center director in Strasburg, Germany from 1987 to 1990. She was a dedicated member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, drawing, puzzles, and gardening.

A private ceremony will be held in her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your local animal shelter in Felicita's name, as she had a deep love for animals, especially dogs.

May her soul rest in peace.
