Felicia "Tia Panchita" Hoyos, an accomplished atelier and lover of gardenias, passed away on April 5, 2023. Born in 1905, Felicia preferred to be called by her given name but was lovingly known by many as Tia Panchita.

An incredibly talented atelier, Felicia spent her life creating and designing beautiful garments for her clients. Her attention to detail and impeccable craftsmanship were highly regarded in her field, earning her a reputation that was both respected and admired.

When not immersed in her work, Felicia indulged her passion for gardenias. Her devotion to these delicate and fragrant blossoms was evident in her home, where she nurtured and tended to a lush garden filled with her favorite flowers. The scent of gardenias forever lingering in the memories of those who had the pleasure of visiting her sanctuary.

Felicia's personality was best described as witty, warm, and selfless. Her kindness and humor endeared her to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Never one to shy away from a clever joke or a gentle tease, she would often have friends and family in stitches with her wit and charm.

She is survived by her loving niece, Ely Hernandez, who will continue to cherish the fondest memories of her beloved Aunt Felicia. Although she will be deeply missed, the impact of her long and beautiful life will continue to inspire and bring joy to countless others.
