Felicia's obituary
Felicia Arlene Bennett, 64, passed away on February 16th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her husband, Brett Bennett, her two sons, Corey and Cameron Bennett, and her cherished family and friends.
Born in Robbinsville, NC, to Betty and William V Stewart Jr. “Junior”, Felicia moved to Florida as a young girl, where she became the devoted and protective big sister to brother Kevin and sister Meredith. After graduating from Florida Atlantic University, she began a career in banking at Barnett Bank. She eventually moved to Siesta Key, FL, where she met Brett, who would become the love of her life. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two sons, Corey and Cameron, who were the greatest joys of her world.
Felicia was a woman of deep faith and an active member of Woodland Community Church, where she led numerous women’s empowerment and faith-based events, including "Mothers and Others." She had an incredible gift for listening, and always provided comfort and support to those in need.
She found joy in all of life’s adventures, both simple and grand; sailing with Brett and their friends, vacationing with her family, going for walks with loved ones, and spending peaceful days at her favorite place—the beach. She was a devoted Disney fan, a proud Trekkie, and a passionate advocate for breast cancer awareness, having bravely survived breast cancer herself.
Felicia’s love extended beyond her immediate family. She welcomed her son Corey’s wife, Abigail, with open arms, embracing her as the daughter she had always wanted.
Her unwavering faith, kindness, and love will live on in the many lives she touched. She will be forever missed and forever loved.
