I have so many wonderful memories of Faye; her courage through all her health trials was amazing. She and my Roger are celebrating together in heaven and waiting for us to join them. She had a special bond with Roger due to his military service. Till we all meet again.
Ms Faye was a wonderful lady. She was so interesting . I enjoyed sitting down and talking with her she was a great example of what a Christian should be
From the Buck Johnson family in Claremore, OK, home of the Joe Hooper VFW, Joe was close to our family while attending horsemanship training here. He actually saved my niece from drowning at Claremore lake one Saturday while spending time with our family. My dad was police chief and Joe rode with him often. Joe spoke fondly of Faye and Joe encouraged me Dewey Johnson Jr to join the military, I did and served in combat 2004 in the Army. Rest in Peace Faye.

I had the honor and privilege to call Faye Hooper my aunt. She was a true Southern Lady. She was so proud of her husband Joe (my father's baby brother) and would sing praises about her Joey. They were her life. I loved listening to her stories and talking about antiques. I will miss her so much. She is now with her husband again and her Cricket. Give Uncle Joe a big hug for me.
Faye Hooper was one of the finest Southern ladies one would ever have the honor and pleasure to be acquainted with. A true gentlewoman in the finest sense who eagerly shared her wit, charm, humor and wisdom. Faye was a great storyteller and an avid supporter of the arts who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Shared a heart Red heart

I had the honor of getting to know and love Miss Fay. I knew in an instant that she doesn’t BS, I had a true friend. I could sit and listen to her stories about Joe and Joey for hours, a very proud woman. Wow, what a treasure! I will brag about her for years and years, to anyone that will listen. I knew a legend...and I’m friends with her daughter! Thank you for giving me so much in such a short amount of time, I will treasure your memory Miss Faye!!! All my love to Joey & Jacob!!
We were blessed to be joined as family with Faye when our children married. My initial impression of Faye was here was a truly complete Southern lady. She was refined, educated and very personable. After spending more time with her over the past few years, I always enjoyed her stories which further revealed her wit and kind heart. She will be greatly missed. She will not be forgotten as her smile and laugh is indelibly etched into my memory. On top of that, we have the gift she left behind, namely, Joey. May the Lord bless her with eternal peace and rest with her Joe.
