Fakir Ibn Basil Dobson 28, of Mays Landing, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. He was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, to Djuana Dobson and Anthony Albright.

Fakir attended Roland Rogers Elementary School, Galloway Township Middle School and was a graduate of the Absegami High School. He was currently employed as a Surveillance Officer for the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Fakir loved music and was known as a local artist for making his own style of music.

Fakir leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Djuana Dobson; father, Anthony Albright; siblings, D’Juan Dobson, Iyana Harris, Brittany Albright, Tiarah Fennell, Azmar Lewis, and Savannah Albright; maternal grandmother, Harriett Easton; Uncle, Everett Easton; a special friend and companion, Rodeline Valeus; and a host of other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held from 10AM to 11:30AM Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Greenidge Funeral Homes, 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City, New Jersey. Funeral Services are private. Interment will be in the Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville, New Jersey.
