Background
I’m Amanda, and I’m asking you all for support during this difficult moment . My husband Fabricio Erik Cordova was a wonderful man and an exemplary husband. There is nothing to complain about him. A man as humble, respectful and loving as he was is difficult to find. He was a healthcare worker who couldn’t stay home during this pandemic. Mournfully, Erik was affected by the coronavirus with severe symptoms that brought him to the hospital. His lungs were seriously affected so he needed to be connected to a ventilator and later on to a ECMO machine. After receiving a tracheotomy, he started bleeding out and some blood got to his lungs and to his kidneys. That’s exactly what this horrible virus does. On June 13th, 2020 God called him to His presence. No words can describe what it feels like to lose a loved one. The only thing that brings us peace is knowing that he is well now in Heaven.

<p>Soy Amanda, y les pido apoyo a todos en este momento tan difícil. Mi esposo Fabricio Erik Cordova fue un hombre maravilloso y un esposo ejemplar. No hay nada de qué quejarse de él. Es difícil encontrar a un hombre tan noble, respetuoso y amoroso como él. Era un trabajador de la salud que no podía quedarse en casa durante esta pandemia. Tristemente, Erik fue afectado por el coronavirus con síntomas severos que lo llevaron al hospital. Sus pulmones se vieron gravemente afectados, por lo que necesitaba estar conectado a un ventilador y luego a una máquina ECMO. Después de recibir una traqueotomía, comenzó a sangrar y algo de sangre llegó a sus pulmones y riñones. Es exactamente lo que hace este horrible virus. El 13 de junio de 2020, Dios lo llamó a su presencia. Ninguna palabra puede describir cómo se siente perder a un ser querido. Lo único que nos trae paz es saber que Erik está en la presencia de Dios.
