Heller Family, my sincere condolences. Losing someone you love is never easy, and it’s even harder when their life feels cut short.
The Bible gives us real comfort at John 11:11, Jesus compares death to a peaceful sleep, and Jehovah promises to wake our loved ones again. Acts 24:15 reminds us of that beautiful hope of the resurrection. May this hope give you comfort and strength as you look forward to seeing Evie again.

So sorry for your loss. I still tell that "kitty litter" joke she made up that day oh so long ago.

Dear Cecile
May prayers embrace you with comfort and strength. So sorry for your family loss. I remember the girls hanging out as you taught our classes. They were beautiful like yourself!
Cecile you have always held a special place in my heart. You brought out my shyness and help me believe in myself. You propelled me to become a better dancer. To this day I hear echoes of you with your gorgeous french accent calling my name …. Za-neen ZA neen!!!
I moved from Louisville many years ago. I’m afraid I can’t be there. I hope you know how many lives your family touched and made better!!
Much love, gratitude & sympathy

I just got the very sad news of Evie ‘s passing . I never knew her but if she was like her Mother you Cecile, she was a powerful, brilliant and passionate determined young woman . You were that kind of teacher for me Cecile . And I love you for that !
I am so very sorry for your loss ,
With heartfelt Love ! ❤️

Dearest Cecile,
I can remember how beautiful Evie was as a young child when I knew her. Both of your daughters exuded joy and love for life. I’m so deeply saddened by your loss. My thoughts and prayers surround you, Clare and your entire family.
With love and admiration,

My family lived two doors from the Hellers on Claremont Avenue. Cecile and my mom were pregnant at the same time. Evie was born 19 days before my youngest brother, Matt. I think they played together as toddlers, but we moved off the street when they were both three.
I’m sorry I didn’t get to know Evie or Claire. They are both beauties as is their mom.
(I have broken my wrist and don’t know if I’ll have the cast off so I can drive to the celebration of life. If I can make it, I will.)
