Evelyn's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Evelyn Warren (née Breon), a fervent matriarch and pillar of strength within our family. Born on October 27, 1935, Evelyn departed from us shortly before her 88th birthday, on October 25, 2023.
Evelyn was a woman of immense tenacity and love. Her personality could be best described as fierce and loyal, yet infused with an abundant and all-encompassing love. She was hardworking; dedicating her life to ensure that her family was always provided for and felt loved. Evelyn firmly believed in putting family first, a lesson she embodied and shared with those around her.
Her greatest joys were found in the simplest moments surrounded by her family. Evelyn was known for hosting beautiful holiday events, which became cherished traditions within the family. Moreover, she took tremendous pride in being a part of her great-grandchildren's events, a testament to her unwavering dedication and love for her family.
Evelyn's enduring legacy is that of a matriarch. She was the heart of her family, providing guidance, support and endless love. Evelyn never missed an opportunity to be with her family, and these are the moments that we will forever hold dear.
She is survived by her children, Randy (Nancy), Susan and Nancy (Don), 5 loving grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a host of other family members and friends who were deeply touched by her kindness. She is predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Edward Warren and grandson James.
A Memorial service to celebrate the beautiful life of Evelyn will be held on November 18, 2023, at the Norwood United Methodist Church, visitation at 10:00 AM, service at 11:00 AM. We invite all who knew and loved Evelyn to join us in honoring her remarkable life and enduring legacy.
Evelyn's love, wisdom, and strength will be dearly missed, but her memory will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
