Evelyn Arlene Street (Slaughter) of Waukee IA, Passed away Wednseday , February 2, 2022 at the young age of 91. at Mercy One West , in West Des Moines, IA. Evelyn was born on April 1, 1930 in Ft. Dodge, IA, to Charles Scott Slaughter and Florence Irene Bacon , King, Slaughter.  She is preceded in death by both parents and her 2 brothers Charles S. Slaughter Jr (Phyllis) of Des Moines, IA and Arnold D. Slaughter (MaryAnn) of Bouton, IA. One sister Donna Gene Slaughter, Daughter. Karen R. Johnson of Anacortes, WA. And Step daughter Jennifer K. Dean of Honesdale, PA. She is also preceded in death by her late husbands : Dick Snyder of Des Moines. IA. ( Ray's dad) Ray Van Antwerp, of Anacortes, WA.(Karen's dad), Elmer Street of Centralia, WA. (Rick, Mike and Mark's dad) Love of her life Less Turner of Des Moines, IA. (Clyde's dad) and Kenneth R. Dean of Des Moines, IA (Rebecca, Jennifer, Jeff and James dad). Dick Houghtaling Sr. of Urbandale, IA.

She leaves behind sons Ray Snyder of Peebles, OH. Rick Street (Edna) of Rochester, WA. Clyde Street of San Jose, CA. Mark Street (Rose) of San Jose, CA. James Dean of Raiford, FL. Jeff Dean of San Jose, CA. Mike Street of Des Moines. IA and Rebecca Dean, Hoversten (Kimble) of West Des Moines, IA. Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Moms love in her life was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren she went above and beyond loving and caring for them. Her other loves in life was Dancing, watching Basketball, the LA Lakers, Kobe Bryant, Football, Going to the Casino, Horse Races, Playing Bingo, and Traveling. and last but not least, Larry( woof woof) She loved spending time with her grandson Dustin Street and Great Grandson Kobe Street. Mom had a heart of Gold and expressed it until the very end. She will be missed like no other, but she lives on in each and everyone of us, until we meet again.
