Evelyn Maile Lei Okalani Ribeiro passed away September 11th, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born June 19th, 1959, at King Kamehameha Hospital in Honolulu, HI to Charles Ribeiro Jr. and Elizabeth Kealoha Pakele. She was a sister, a mother, a grandmother, and a friend.

Her family moved briefly to San Jose, CA in 1962 and then in 1964 to Fremont, CA where she resided for most of her life. She started her life long career at Longs Drugs in 1985, soon after she met her partner Gregory Ordonez and had their first daughter in February of 1992, followed shortly by their second daughter in June of 1993, and concluding with their third daughter in October of 1995. After 30 esteemed years at Longs Drugs, during which she had become a loved manager, mentor, and loyal coworker, she retired in 2005.

Her interests included spending time with family, celebrating the holidays, and crafting. She devoted much of her time and energy to family members and friends, nobody's birthday was ever forgotten, she made sure to wish everyone a happy holiday, and she made sure you always felt special. Ms. Ribeiro is survived by her two sisters, Charlene and Darlene; her partner Gregory Ordonez; her three daughters Danika, Rosita, and Katrina Ordonez; and two grandchildren, Malaki and Cecelia Tang.
