Evelyn's obituary

Evelyn Mustanski of Lincolnwood, Illinois (formerly of Eden Prairie) died of cancer peacefully on March 31th surrounded by her family. Evelyn was born in 1948 in Gary, Indiana to Stanley and Wanda Dabrowski. She received her B.A. in Education from Indiana University and then went on to earn a master’s degree in education from St. Thomas. She married Stanley Mustanski Jr. in 1970 and had two children, Melanie and Brian. Evelyn loved teaching at St. Hubert Catholic School for 37 years; she was passionate about inspiring a love of science and public speaking in her students. Evelyn was a life-long learner, and after retirement she picked up woodworking, painting, and volunteering at the Arboretum. She was proceeded in death by her parents and brothers, and is survived by her husband, children, sister (Marianne) and granddaughters (5).  As Evelyn was passionate about interactive science education, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the Evelyn Mustanski Science Education Fund at St. Hubert School which will support teachers' selection of interactive science education activities for the students. A donor will match all contributions (up to $5,000).  https://gofund.me/f187fe97
