Evelyn's obituary
With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Evelyn Webb, a cherished mother, sister, and friend. Born on January 27, 1953, Evelyn enriched the lives of those around her until her passing on December 11, 2024.
Evelyn leaves behind her loving daughter, Kimberli Jensen, and her affectionate siblings; sisters Elaine Daugherty, Elizabeth Walker, Emily Davis, and brothers Ernie and Eddie Norris. She was predeceased by her brother, Earl Norris, and her mother, Cora McCuen.
Evelyn was an exceptionally caring woman who took great pleasure in simple comforts. She loved the rustic taste of liver and onions and the homely goodness of potato soup. A cold Coca Cola was her drink of choice. Evelyn had a soft spot for Westerns by Larry McMurtry. Her diverse musical taste spanned from country to rock. She relished in watching classic films like "The Dream Team" and "What About Bob", and had a fondness for Westerns such as "Lonesome Dove".
Evelyn found solace in nature, enjoying walks, hikes, and exploring new places. She had a particular affection for the color green. Known for her smart, caring, loyal, generous, fun, and adventurous spirit, she could light up any room she entered. She was an advocate for following your dreams and dedicated herself in assisting others to do the same.
One of Evelyn's most significant accomplishments was her long-standing role as a Supervisor of Housekeeping at a hospital in Arizona. She also committed herself to the service of others by providing care to the elderly and handicapped.
Her enduring legacy is her boundless love for her family. The memories made with her are invaluable, filled with joy, happiness, and the sincere wish that there could have been more time to create even more. Evelyn Webb will be profoundly missed by her loved ones and all who had the privilege to know her.
