Background
In honor of my mom, we are creating this fund to continue the kindness and compassion she shared with others throughout her life.
For over 22 years, she worked as a private duty companion caregiver, dedicating herself to caring for others not just physically, but emotionally. She formed deep connections with the people she cared for, always making sure they felt valued, comforted, and never alone.
In the last two years of her life, her compassion grew even further. She began offering visits to individuals who had no family or regular visitors—simply showing up to spend time, talk, and remind them that someone cared. Those moments of connection meant everything.
This fund is created to carry forward her legacy of kindness and presence.
Donations will be used to:
• Treat caregivers to small moments of appreciation, such as meals or a day out, recognizing the love and effort they give every day
• Provide visits, small gifts, and companionship to individuals who may not have family or regular support
Through this fund, we hope to continue what she did so naturally—bringing comfort, dignity, and connection to others.
