Evelyn "Pat" Hill passed away on April 7, 2025, just shy of her 82nd birthday. Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John J. Hill; her son, Edward R. Hill; her brother Edward Okonski; and her parents, Edward and Marjorie Okonski.

Pat’s spirit was evident in her love for Detroit sports, Northern Michigan, and spending time with her grandchildren. As a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church for many years, she was dedicated to her faith. She was a card shark and loved card games like Setback and Rummy, always playing to win. She found happiness in family gatherings, whether attending her grandchildren's sporting events, fishing on the lake for bluegills, or relaxing at the family cabin in Kalkaska. Known for her humor, occasional stubbornness, and constant support, Pat's presence will be deeply missed but her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Pat is survived by her oldest son Jerry and his wife Janet Hill; daughter-in-law, Tina Hill; grandchildren, Scott (Samantha), Joshua (Katie), Nicholas, Tony (Helen), Trevor, Alyssa and Mollie Hill. She also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Johnathon, August, and Jerry Hill.

At Pat's request, no memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that you spend meaningful time with your loved ones and enjoy the great outdoors. Our lives are richer for having known her, and she will continue to live on in our hearts and memories.
