Evelyn Diaz Cruz, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on March 8, 1945, in Thibodaux, Louisiana, Evelyn lived a life defined by resilience, kindness, and a deep love for her family and community.

Evelyn’s roots in Thibodaux shaped her enduring spirit and strong values. She grew up surrounded by the warmth of southern hospitality and carried those traditions with her throughout her life. A woman of quiet strength and generous heart, Evelyn was known for her unwavering devotion to those she loved.
