Evelyn Catherine Devald Rypisi, of Chandler, AZ and formerly of East Brunswick, NJ, passed away on July 30th at the age of 94.

Evelyn was born on October 10, 1929 to the late Joseph and Catherine Devald. In 1948, she married  Joseph Rypisi of Milltown, NJ. Together they raised four children: Carole Yehling (David) of Chandler, AZ; Cynthia Golden (Robert) of Paramus, NJ; Joseph Rypisi (Pamela) of Ewing, NJ; and Candace Rypisi of Temple City, CA. She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Joseph and John; son-in-law, Robert; and loving husband of 70 years, Joseph.  Evelyn is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.

 In her early life she was a switchboard operator, a salesclerk at Toys R Us and JC Penney, and a data entry clerk at an insurance company. Evelyn loved spending time with her family, was a devoted Catholic, and enjoyed her margaritas!
