Evan shared a loving home with his fiancée, Alicia Rose Porter, and his devoted mother, Darylyn Rose McKinney, both of whom were the center of his world. He was deeply loved by family and friends alike, leaving behind a community forever changed by his absence and forever grateful for the time they shared with him. Evan had a rare and beautiful mind. He was an incredibly unique artist, expressing emotions and perspectives through his work in ways that words never could. His art was not only seen but felt—pieces of his heart that will now be cherished for years to come. He also had a passion for building electric bikes, pouring his energy and ingenuity into creations that amazed those around him. Some of Evan’s happiest moments were spent at the beach, where he found peace collecting driftwood and embracing the rhythm of the ocean. By his side was his beloved dog Yuri, his loyal companion of 15 years. Whether throwing a ball along the shore or watching Yuri swim freely in the waves, those moments reflected the pure joy and connection Evan carried in his heart. In a bittersweet passing, Yuri followed Evan soon after, and it brings comfort to know they are together again. Evan’s smile was truly contagious—an effortless expression of kindness and sincerity that could lift spirits in an instant. He had a gentle way of making people feel seen, valued, and understood.
