Eva Erlinda Garcia, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home in Bakersfield, CA on November 11th, 2025 at the age of 80.

Born to Herlinda Gaona and Jesus Robles on September 4th, 1945. Eva grew up in Bakersfield and went on to build a life filled with love, purpose, and adventure.

Eva spent 40 years working as a Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital and Kern Medical Center, where she was admired for her dedication and compassion. Outside of work, she enjoyed shopping and traveling, and was known for her generosity and kindness.

Above all, family was Eva’s greatest joy. She is survived by her son Richard Garcia and daughter in law Tracy Garcia, daughter Rebecca Radica and son in law David Radica, grandchildren Christopher Garcia, Ashley Pereida, Hallie Wacker, Jason Garcia, Amie Radica, David Radica, Justin Garcia, Andrew Radica, and great-grandchildren Violet Eve Pereida, Kacey Wacker, Rebecca Radica, Melissa Radica, Avelyn Wacker, and Gunnar Pereida (coming soon), as well as many friends who felt like family.
