Eushamae "Shay-Shay" Randolph-Golidy, affectionately known by all as Shay-Shay, passed away peacefully on October 28th, 2023. Born on July 7th, 1969, Shay-Shay was a ray of sunshine whose smile could brighten any room. His personality, often described as buoyant and goofy, left an undeniable mark on everyone he met.
Shay-Shay completed his high school education in Chapel Hill, NC in 1987, going on to graduate in 1990 from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Teaching. His passion for educating the future generation was a keystone of his personality. Becoming a teacher was not just a job for Shay-Shay, but one of his greatest accomplishments.
Predeceased by his beloved husband, Darrell Golidy, his father, Carl Lee Randolph, and his mother, Maddie Randolph, Shay-Shay leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. Survived by his sister, Phoebe Randolph, his daughter, DarAsia Golidy, and his grandson, Daivaughn Stimage, Shay-Shay's impact and memory continue to live on within his loving family.
In 2013, Shay-Shay found joy in marriage, demonstrating a commitment and love that was inspiring to all around him. He relished in recreational activities with his husband and grandson, creating memories that were cherished by those closest to him. He held fast to the lesson of going above and beyond in everything he did, consistently pushing himself and inspiring others to do the same.
Shay-Shay's legacy is one of kindness, love, and commitment to his work and his family. His loss will be felt deeply by many. The memory of his radiant smile and uplifting spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
