Eunice's obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Eunice Brown, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who peacefully left us on March 26, 2025 at the age of 91. Eunice led a full and rewarding life, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and humility amongst those who had the privilege to know her.
Eunice embarked on her life journey with her beloved husband Robert Brown in 1961. Their story would take them from a joyous wedding to the births of their cherished daughters, Tamara Brown and Kirstin Bonner. After their retirement Bob and Eunice embarked on numerous adventures around the world. From river cruises to adventures in Europe, and the ever-favorite escapades in New Orleans. Eunice’s candid spirit gave her the drive to dabble in a variety of pursuits, making her retirement years a vibrant part of her life.
Eunice's zest for life was evident in her hobbies and interests. She found joy in the simple activities such as swimming, quilting, and sewing. Leaving behind enough patterns and fabric to clothe a small country. An avid reader, she loved romance novels and The Bible. Her love for television was diverse, spanning from Downton Abbey to Family Feud and Call the Midwife. She always had a special place in her heart for the beach and water and found solace in moments spent with her family playing board games and bible study. Her family will always cherish the times spent playing dominos and cards against humanity.
Eunice was a beacon of kindness in her community, sharing her warmth and wisdom at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Winchester, VA and at Community Bible Study. Her teachings revolved around the fundamental principles of treating others with kindness and respect, a lesson passed down to her loved ones who will continue to propagate her values.
Predeceased by her husband Robert Brown, Eunice is survived by her daughters, Tamara Brown and Kirstin Bonner (son-in-law Kirk Bonner), and her grandchildren Adam (wife Rachelle), Korianne, Ashley (husband Jordan), Kyle, and her six (soon to be seven) great grandchildren. Eunice's memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched through her actions and words.
The world has lost a remarkable woman whose impact will never be forgotten. Her legacy of love and lessons of kindness will be cherished by those who had the pleasure of being part of her journey.
