It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eunice Jean Barricklow (66), a kind, warm, and caring mother and wife, on September 6, 2024, at her home in Hutchinson, KS. 

Born on November 6, 1957,  in Philadelphia, MO, Eunice lived a life full of love and selflessness.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory Barricklow; son, Jason Barricklow and wife, Brenda, and grandchildren, Titus and Kaelyn; daughter, Jessica Rockwell and husband Geoff; and daughter Joni Perry and husband Eddie, and grandson, Viggo.

Eunice graduated high school in 1976 in Philadelphia, MO and later attended Hesston College. On November 26, 1977, Eunice married Gregory L. Barricklow in Philadelphia, MO.  They moved to Kansas where she worked as a welder and then a CMA for many years. She enjoyed spending her time crocheting.  

Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Ruth (Abrahams) Fenton, sisters, Maxine Veneris, Judy Fenton, Ruth Adams, and Joyce Harman, as well as one brother in infancy, Gerald Fenton.

Per Eunice’s wishes, cremation will take place. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. 

Despite our profound sorrow, we take solace in remembering Eunice's radiant smile, her gentle voice, and nurturing heart. She will be deeply missed, but her journey of selflessness and love continues through her children and grandchildren.
